Roadside America Challenge

April 1 – September 30, 2026

Visit 50 roadside sites, attractions, or oddities listed on Roadside America anywhere in the United States.

To keep things interesting, no more than two sites may be counted from the same county.

How to Start

Go to RoadsideAmerica.com.

  • The desktop or laptop version is free.
  • iPhone users can download the Roadside America from the Apple App Store.
  • The app itself is free, but regions must be purchased.
  • The Southern Region costs $2.99.
  • There is no Android app. Android users can simply visit RoadsideAmerica.com using their phone’s browser.

How to Find Sites

  1. Open RoadsideAmerica.com.
  2. Click “State Favorites.”
  3. Select the state you want (for example, Florida).

You will then see a map with location pins marking attractions across the state.

Another way:

  1. Click “State Favorites.”
  2. Scroll down the list of states.
  3. Click “Map.”

This will open a map showing all attraction pins for that state.

Exploring the Map

  • Zoom in or out to explore different areas.
  • Click a pin to open a small information box.
  • Click “More” to open the full page for that attraction.

Spend a little time exploring the maps and pins. There are several ways to locate sites, and it becomes easy once you get used to it.

Verification Photos

Not all listed attractions are directly on the roadside. Because of that, it may sometimes be difficult to verify that you visited on your motorcycle.

If the attraction is not clearly roadside:

  1. Take a photo of your motorcycle using a timestamp camera app showing the location.
  2. Then take a second photo of the attraction using the same app.
  3. Try to keep the timestamps close together so it’s clear the photos were taken during the same visit.

You can download Timestamp Camera from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or visit:

Submitting Your Visit

Email the following to:

tnolan@nolangroupinc.com

Include:

  • Your photo(s)
  • The name of the attraction exactly as listed on Roadside America
  • Location details if the location is not clearly visible in the photo

To receive credit, you must convince me that both you and your bike were there.
