Motorcycle-related fatalities and motorcycle crashes, in general, are a big concern. The only
way to help mitigate the problem is through awareness and training. That’s why JSO joined

March 27th
Lake Harris Hide-A-Way Ride
For my March ride we are going to return to some of the oldies-but-goodies-twisties. Once
again we will start in Green Cove Springs, on the south side this time, as we begin our ride
by heading south on 17. The first half of the ride will be Florida Straight, however, before
long we will be leaning through the sweepers of 314a & 182nd St. Our lunch destination this
month will be Lake Harris Hideaway on the bank of Lake Harris. The hideaway is a relaxing
venue under the trees. The restaurant surrounds the boat docks and the occasional seaplane
stops in for lunch.

We have come up with a challenge so this summer you will have no reason to say— · I'm
tired of going to the same places. · I'm tired of riding the same roads. · I don't have any
place to go. It’s The ABC Challenge- Here’s how it works Within a 250-mile radius of
downtown Jacksonville, visit a city or town whose name begins with every letter of the
alphabet. Such as A—Atlantic Beach, B—Brunswick, C—Crystal River, D—Daytona Beach,
etc.
