Annual Stagecoach

Ride to Eat 12-30-12
Riders............This is a great way to end the
year. Every year I talk this up and every year I try
to get a few more of you to join me for this RTE
(ride to eat) over to Stockton, AL. The Stagecoach
Inn is just about the only thing in Stockton. The
plan is to take some I-10 and then back roads over
on Friday Dec 29th and spend the night in Bay
Minette, AL. There are some nice, moderately priced
motels in Bay Minette for evening tire kicking with
dinner options nearby where many riders will be
staying. Stockton is about 10 miles north and about
414 miles from Jax via I-10. Our outbound route will
be slightly longer and we'll run at a pace that fits
the group. We'll peel off I-10 before Tally and take
back roads the balance of the trip.
ALL CLUB MEMBERS ARE WELCOME. The crowds start to
arrive about 9am and the parking lots in the area
are jammed by noon. Riders come in from all over for
breakfast/brunch/lunch. This is one of those long
standing traditions in the motorcycle riding world
that is passed around only by word of mouth. No
beer, no burnout pit, no tattoo artists, no swap
meet, no outlaws. Just motorcycles and motorcycle
people. We will head back before 1pm via interstate.

departure will be from the Baldwin exit McDonald's
at I-10 and Hwy 301 about 7:30am. We figure out the
details after I hear from you.

Penquin Ride
will be held on Tuesday, New Year's Day.

year we will meet at the Fleet Reserve at 9:00 AM
for coffee and baked goods. We will have a riders
meeting at 9:30 and depart at 9:45. After a 57 mile
ride we will dine at the newly reopened Sandollar
Restaurant on Heckscher Dr. In the event of bad
weather there will be a shorter, direct route." |

adventure of exotic sites and wild
animals while on a Ron Ayres

once in a lifetime trip.
Ride: Florida's Springs -
Bill Botkin and Todd Sandlin will
lead us south on 2-lane back roads,
skirting the Belmore State Forest
before leading us on some of
Florida’s best roads near Keystone
Heights. The ride ends just north of
Orange Springs at a restaurant voted
Florida’s best barbeque: Backwoods
Smokehouse.

installment of Motorcycle Medicine.
This presentation will focus on
keeping us healthy and in the saddle
longer.
Ride – The Wild Ride at St.
Augustine Wild Reserve. Sherry
Potter will lead us to the St.
Augustine Wild Reserve for a special
private tour for our club. The St.
Augustine Wild Reserve is a
non-profit corporation created as a
rescue center for unwanted exotic
animals. Here is your chance to see
large cats and other animals up
close. Afterwards will have lunch
will at Caddy Shack Restaurant at
the World Golf Village. Cost $10 per
person.

This is fabulous restaurant with a
variety of Latin and Cuban cuisine

experience. It is like getting a
trip to Europe with your dinner.

Program - Riders for Health
is an organization that provides and
manages over 1,400 motorcycles,
ambulances and other four-wheel
vehicles used in the delivery of
critical health care in seven
countries across Africa. This
non-profit organization is supported
by the motorcycle industry to
include manufactures, racing
organizers, and magazines. This is
an organization where motorcyclist
are giving back to the world.
Zero electric
motorcycle brand will do demo rides
after the meeting. A Guest from WWP
will be in attendance to speak about
the WWP. RIH merchandise offered to
NEF members at special pre-event
pricing. There is NO after meeting
ride.

base. Lunch at the base club, tour
the museum, then a self guided

Savannah and Sunday morning visit
the museum honoring the World War II
story of the 8th Air
